A software engineer married to a shop-owner/community-builder/entrepreneur, these homeowners are local makers and friends. They called on SYH to help expand their home to fit all their children - young adult to new baby, and several more in-between - as well as all the craft supplies and plants and books and meaningful art and objects they've collected over the years. They asked for space, light and color - areas to relax and recharge, and also a room to focus on their work away from the foot traffic of daily life. The new addition leaves the living spaces of the main house available for family life to unfold, and gives Mom & Dad a(few) room(s) of their own.
