Midcentury Made Modern
Before: This 1958 Bloomington gem had all the right bones, but previous renovations stopped short of realizing its full potential. They got some things right and gave us a great start, adding an addition for an ensuite bedroom and bath, creating a courtyard, and preserving the original limestone and layout. Our client decided to lean in with us to maximize the best parts of the midcentury design, while modernizing function and upleveling the overall color and style.
After: Cue the comeback. We elevated this midcentury classic with a thoughtful remix of vintage and new: original lines preserved, small spaces expanded and awkward ones reimagined, and a symphony of furniture, art and finishes that make the home feel like an art gallery, but cozier. It's bold, it's layered, and it still makes our team swoon. One part nostalgia, one part future-forward—all heart.
